Hervey Bay is considered one of the best places in the world to view humpbacks which visit between July and November each year. And it has plenty more marine wildlife !  Hervey Bay is not just for Whale Watching you can visit Fraser Island, see the turtles, dolphins, dugongs. Visit our tranquil, calm waters where you can fish, bask up the sunshine or just take a swim. Along the Esplanade you will find unique shopping, great eateries and coffee shops.

World Heritage listed Fraser Island - enjoy the naturally beautiful rainforests, pristine lakes and wildlife on 4WD tours of this largest sand island in the world. You can also see the island by hiring a four wheel drive vehicle yourself and experience this natural wonder at you own pace.
